Echinomastus johnstonii (Cactus)

This small elongated spherical cactus is completely hidden by long spines intertwined with each other. The solitary stem can reach a height of 10-25 cm, it is light green in color with evident tubercles and narrow ribs. The numerous spines that cover it can even reach 4 cm in length. Their color varies from gray to yellow to reddish-brown and generally darken over time. The flowers that bloom in spring are funnel-shaped and pink in color.
