Cremnocereus albipilosus f. crested (Cactus)

The crested shape of this cactaceae presents the typical fan arrangement that makes each exemplar absolutely unique, never identical to another and for this reason very appreciated by collectors. Also in its normal form Cremnocereus albipilosus is a decidedly particular plant: the stem is green, equipped with quite marked ribs. It has many thorns, small and very thin, usually of whitish color and tending to intertwine with each other to create an unusual tangle. This characteristic renders the species unique and very appreciated, completely covered by a fluff seemingly similar to soft cotton. The messy interweaving of the small thorns gives the idea that this plant wants to get out of the box, that wants to stand out from all with an aspect as particular as delicate and thorny at the same time!
