Copiapoa mollicula (Cactus)

A spherical cactus which is depressed at the apex, generally it is solitary and slow growing. The dull greyish-green epidermis has multiple tubercles on which oval areoles, extremely downy and of a white color, sprout. It is equipped with sparse thin blackish spines. Its large funnel-shaped inflorescences are of a yellow color.
