Copiapoa minima (Cactus)

This species was discovered in 1987 by the cactus merchant Karel Knize who called it Copiapoa minima. The plant has a globose stem of violet-green color with protruding tubercles above which are found fluffy white areoles. The spines come out from the areoles and are yellowish with darker tips almost brownish.
