Copiapoa esmeraldana (Cactus)

A rare cactus plant, coming from the Guanillos valley, near Esmeralda, much sought after and highly appreciated by green collectors and cactus lovers. Its olive green stem of a globular shape and solitary habit, over time tends to cluster at the base; has a slight depression at the apex and irregular ribs, formed by multiple rounded tubercles. It has many small downy white areoles, from which thin gray-blackish spines emerge. During the flowering period we can admire its beautiful yellow flowers with red streaks.
