A rare cactacea plant that clusters a lot over time, which is why it is particularly sought after and is highly appreciated by green collectors and cactus lovers. Its green stem has a globular shape with slightly tuberculated ribs. From the downy areoles long and rigid spines grow, which initially are white and then change the color to gray. Over time the spines completely cover the epidermis of the plant. Flowering occurs throughout summer, blooming with bright yellow apical flowers.
