Copiapoa decorticans (Cactus)

It is an extremely rare cactacea, which grows columnar, initially erect, but becomes slightly inclined over time. In nature it can grow up to 1m in height. It produces a stem that varies in color from light green to dark green, on which very downy areoles are formed. The spines are needle-like, of a brownish-yellow color with a darker tip, up to 1 cm long. As the plant matures, the spines tend to take on a gray hue and the fleshy part of the plant dries up and lignifies. During the flowering period, we can admire its beautiful bright yellow flowers.
