Copiapoa cupreata (Cactus)

A rare cactus, highly sought after and much appreciated by cactus collectors. Its olive green stem takes on a gray color over time, has a globular shape with a solitary habit, that, as it grows, can cluster at the base. It has a slight depression at the apex and ribs, strongly defined by many rounded tubercles. It consists of small downy white areoles, from which long and rigid blackish-gray spines emerge. During the flowering period, we can admire its beautiful bright yellow flowers.
