Copiapoa ahremephiana (Cactus)

This beautiful exemplar of cactaceae with a globular shape tends to become cylindrical over time. It generally has a solitary habit but can also vine. It has numerous marked ribs above which there are robust yellow or brown thorns which curve towards the stem. Its beautiful yellow/cream yellow flowers bloom at the apex of the stem and give a touch of delicacy to the plant. The flowering period is summer.
