Chamaecereus silvestrii f. crested (Cactus)

The Crested shape of this cacti presents the typical fan disposition, compact and with a limited range of expansion, which makes every specimen absolutely unique, never identical to another one and, for that reason, beloved by collectors. In its normal form it is a low growing, branched cacti. It produces numerous stems of variable lengths, of a pale green color. On its ribs (7-10 for each branch) are formed wooly whitish areolas, from which erupt tiny thorns in a white-graysh color (hence the name of the species from the english word “silver”). When exposed to the sun Chamaecereus silvestrii tends to take on reddish shades. This plant does not require much attention or particular care, so it is perfect even for neophytes.
