Description:

A climbing plant which is very easy to cultivate and with a rapid growth. It blooms with numerous but unimpressive flowers. If given support, like a stick for example, it grows upwards, if left hanging the branches grow downwards.  The exposure is very important because it gets sunburnt easily. Commonly called “silver dollar”, it's perfect for indoor places.

Plant care:

Avoid direct sun rays, which may burn the leaves, however the plant prefers a sheltered but at the same time bright location. The best option is the morning sunlight until 12.00 / 13.00, or the afternoon sunlight afer 15.00 / 16.00.

The plant prefers mild temperatures, it is advisable to shelter it if winter temperatures drop below 6-8 °C.

Water abundantly every 3-4 days in summer, making sure the soil is dry before proceeding with a new watering. In winter, especially if the plant is placed in closed or not very bright environments, it is advisable to water it only once a month, or when the soil is completely dry.

A substrate suitable for succulents is an optimal solution, as long as it is well draining and thus prevents rotting.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
