Its name comes from the Greek "trichos"- hair, and "diadem"-crown thanks to the "crown" of hairy and white bristles of which the leaves of these plants are endowed. It has fleshy , elongated and green leaves. T. marlothii has a tapestry bearing and in its natural habitat can cover large areas. Its beautiful margherita flowers bloom between the leaves; they are bright purple-fuchsia and create an attractive contrast with the green of the plant. This specimen cannot be missing in your collection.
