Trichodiadema bulbosum

Its name derives from the Greek words “trichos” - "hair", and “diadema” - "crown", referring to the “crown” of hairy and white bristles with which the leaves of these plants are equipped. It has a very decorative tuberous root, ideal for making bonsai. Numerous long woody stems grow from the tuber, covered with a brown-greyish bark, on which small bluish-green cylindrical leaves grow, embellished with a hairy crown at the end. From autumn until spring, you can admire its beautiful carmine red flowers. The Trichodiadema bulbosum is very resistant, does not require any particular care - the characteristics that make this plant ideal for those, who want to try to create a bonsai even for the first time.
