Trichocereus purpureopilosus

Very special cactus, consisting of a body that tends to become cylindrical with growth and to form colonies of several stems together, often slightly prostrate towards the ground due to their small diameter. It has well-marked and symmetrical longitudinal ribs, along which clear radial spines emerge, strongly pointed and thin, arranged as if to wrap the stem; the central spines are brownish-orange, much longer and sometimes pointing downwards. Its rusticity changes drastically when huge white flowers with pinkish shades bloom, a real spectacle. The general appearance is that of a strongly wild plant, perfect for bringing a touch of desert charm to your rooms!
