Trichocereus hybrid f. variegata

The variegated form of a cactus has typical yellow spots, which correspond to the exact points where there is no chlorophyll and make each specimen unique in its kind, never exactly the same as others. The name Trichocereus derives from ancient Greek meaning “trichos”, hair, and “cereus”, candle. It is a columnar cactus, which often clumps at the base. The stem of the normal shape can take on different shades of green and is covered with numerous needle-like spines from yellow to brownish. Robust and resistant, easy to grow, suitable for neophytes, and which gives magnificent flowers, extremely large and in various bright shades.
