Trichocereus candicans

Magnificent exemplar of a cylindrical cactus that expands branching and creating new stems of a pale green, which becomes yellowish after prolonged exposure to the sun; they are equipped with ribs. Radial and central spines emerge from the woolly white areoles: the former are thin and yellowish, whilst the central ones are robust, longer and brown with dark tips. Its delicate funnel-shaped flowers bloom along the stems during the night; the petals have a whitish hue and at the centre are yellow.
