Trichocaulon similis

Synonym of Larryleachia cactiformis. Trichocaulon similis is a very rare succulent, extremely valued by the collectors of succulents. Its globose stem, of pale green colour, is opaque and does not exceed the 5 cm of diameter. It appears rich in detail thanks to the numerous hexagonal tubercles, not perfectly symmetrical, that completely cover the epidermis. Due to the total lack of thorns in the tubercles but also due to its wonderful flowers which bloom abundantly along the whole stem, it’s shaped like a star of yellow-green colour, enriched by completely purple tips and brown-purple spots, they will certainly not go unnoticed!
