T. annulatum is a particular succulent plant, with an appearance much more similar to a cactus: it has columnar stems, tuberculated, covered by thorns, in order to adapt to the climate of their natural habitats. They have a greyish-green colour whilst the tonality of the spines varies from whitish to yellow. It expands branching at the base and creating new stems. Its wonderful flowers bloom at the apex of the plant, have shades ranging from purple pink to dark purple and their petals have a very characteristic shape: wide at the base, with wavy margins and end with a tip.
