Thelocephala heinrichiana

Cactacea plant with a wild and rather rustic look, perfect for adorning the most varied styles of furniture. It has a globular stem, which tends to become slightly cylindrical with growth, equipped with asymmetrical and not very prominent tubercles. Its beautiful dark shade, which from green tends to fade towards purple, contrasts nicely with the large white areoles, from which come out equally white rather long, straight and multi-directional spines. The radial and central spines are sometimes almost indistinguishable, while at other times the central one has much more pronounced red-brownish shades.
