Succulent plant that branches easily, with hexagonal shaped stems, ranging from gray to green with small purple streaks. Its ribs are outlined by numerous tubercles from which short white thorns emerge. It is a highly sought-after plant for its unique, huge, yellow flowers with purple streaks.

Plant care:
Loves bright positions but in mid-shade, to avoid that it can burn.
Prefers medium-high temperatures, in any case never lower than 10ºC, which is why it is advisable to place them sheltered in winter.
We recommend regular watering in summer, whenever the soil is completely dry; in winter it is preferable to completely suspend the water supply.
It is optimal an extremely draining soil, consisting of specific soil for succulents, to which is added a good amount of gravel or sand.
It does not need frequent fertilizations, it will be sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with the water of the waterings once a year.
