Sulcorebutia taratensis f. crestata

The crested shape of this splendid cactus has the typical arrangement consisting of numerous small fans, which tangle together to form a sinusoidal pattern similar to that of the human brain, which is why it is one of the cacti commonly known as "brain cactus". It is a rare and sought-after form, never the same from one specimen to another; it is generated exclusively in the nursery and can often be grafted onto other cacti to facilitate its development which would otherwise be extremely long. Each piece has dark green epidermis enriched with very short brownish-yellow spines, aimed at covering the entire surface of the stem, for a truly original effect and perfect for any furniture style!
