Description:
Stomatium rouxii is a variety of succulent carpet native to South Africa. It has fleshy leaves of green colour with an elongated shape. The epidermis has raised dots on the margins, which at the apex of the leaf become indented giving the plant an even more attractive appearance.

Plant care:
It requires a lot of light and likes direct sun rays.
It grows well in mild temperatures, it is advisable to shelter it if temperatures drop below 5 °C and when the season is too rainy.
It is advisable to water regularly in summer, whenever the soil remains dry, and to stop watering completely in winter.
It requires very porous substrate, made up half of fertilized soil and half of coarse sand which allows it to drain well, as it tends to rot easily when it's too humid.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
