Description:
S. pierrei is a caudiciform plant native to South Asia. It has a woody caudex with a globose shape that performs the important function of water supply reserve, necessary to withstand even prolonged periods of drought. Its leaves grow at the apex of long stems which come out from the caudex; they are green with a circular shape and have well evident veins of a lighter green color. This wonderful plant is suitable to decorate any type of environment thanks to its particular appearance.

Plant care:
These plants love the sun, so you'll need to place them in a very bright location.
Temperatures below 10-16ºC could damage them.
The watering should be regular to keep the substrate moist (but never saturated) during their growing season, Spring and Summer, while in Autumn, when the leaves start to wither, you must gradually reduce the water supply until suspending it.
Require a well-drained soil to grow well.
They do not need frequent fertilizations, it is enough to dilute fertilizer with watering once a year.
