This exemplar of caudiciform plant native to Thailand is also commonly called Stephania Sp. Nova. It has a woody and scaly caudex with an irregular shape that performs the important function of water supply reserve, necessary to withstand even prolonged periods of drought. It is very appreciated for its large dark green leaves with clear light green veins. S. kaweesakii needs a lot of sun and is suitable to decorate any type of environment thanks to its attractive appearance.
