Stenogonia is a chimera of Stenocereus and Obregonia denegrii: two plants of different genera, but of the same family, which merge at the cellular level, forming this new variety. It is unique in its genus and often characterized by variegations, that can vary from yellow to pink. Often it can be found grafted to facilitate its cultivation. The variegated form is even more sought after by green collectors for its yellow pigmentations in the points, where chlorophyll is absent, which makes each specimen unique, so you will never find two identical ones.
