Stapelia Hirsuta

With its beautiful purple flowers and characteristic down Stapelia Hirsuta is one of the most magnificent asclepiadaceae. It is an upright succulent that does not exceed 24 cm in height. There are many hybrids of it in nature and in cultivation and for this reason it is not always easy to recognize it. The flower gives off an unpleasant smell with the aim of attracting insects and promoting pollination.
