The Socotrella species is endemic to the island of Socotra, which is located near the coast of Yemen. On this island we find numerous unique and highly sought-after plant species, one of which is Socotrella. A species that has long stems, green-brown in colour, equipped with numerous tubercles and which expands by branching. It produces small, star-shaped flowers, generally yellow in color. Highly appreciated by collectors around the world for its distinctive appearance. In its natural habitat this fatty plant is accustomed to a mild climate, with high temperatures, sun and heat. It cannot withstand temperatures below 10 degrees, it must be placed in bright, ventilated environments. The suitable soil for this species is a well-draining soil that prevents waterlogging and thus the root rot to which the plant is subject. It does not require frequent watering therefore, only when the soil is completely dry.
