Senecio rowleyanus f. variegata (Pianta del rosario)

Also called "rosary plant" or "pearl necklace". It is a very decorative succulent, with globular leaves that resemble a pearl necklace, it is perfect for interiors, where it shows its maximum beauty when placed in hanging pots. Its long and thin stems fall down from the vase forming a cascade that shimmers in its wonderful combination of colors: from green to yellow and even purple. S. rowleyanus f. variegated doesn't withstand cold and loves a lot of light. From spring until autumn, you can admire its small white flowers that release a light scent of cinnamon. Its fruits, when ripen, form tufts of white hair that resemble those of an old person, in fact "senex" means "old man".
