Senecio citriformis

It is an extremely original succulent, for this reason it is highly appreciated by collectors but also only by those who like to bring a touch of innovation in their environments. It has erect or semi-prostrate stems, on which grow spherical but slightly pointed leaves that do not exceed one centimeter in size; they take exactly the shape of a three-dimensional tear (which is why it is commonly known as "string of tears). The beautiful foliage is arranged in a thick way along the stems, generating a sort of bush of small spheres with all the microscopic points pointing upwards, thus giving rise to an extremely scenic complex to which contributes the beautiful green-bluish glaucous, waxy but, at the same time, with translucent veins: it is impressive to observe such a quantity of details in such a small size!
