Description:

Cactacea with a decidedly extravagant appearance, whose name was chosen in honor of the German botanist Carl Wercklé. It does not have a shape common to the family of cactuses, developing its stems as long cylindrical stems, with a maximum diameter of one centimeter, growing for more than one meter long, branching and tending to fall back. For this reason it turns out to be a perfect plant to be placed in hanging pots or on shelves, where it will show wonderful waterfalls of a beautiful light and bright green, which will decorate your environments in an incomparable way! Each stem is armed with very short whitish spines, perfectly matched with the gigantic candid flowers: they bloom at night among the green with pretty and fragrant multilayered white petals, sometimes shaded with pinkish in the throat, flooding your spaces with an unmistakable charm!

Plant care:

It requires a lot of light during all seasons, while avoiding direct sunlight.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

During the warm seasons water it regularly but moderately, to keep the soil always moist but free of stagnant water. In winter it is advisable to reduce watering up to once a month.

A substrate rich in minerals but also well draining, in order to avoid water stagnation, is an optimal solution.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
