Selenicereus macdonaldiae

Usually climbing cactacea, consisting of bright green stems with a diameter of a few centimeters and several meters long, with not very prominent but perfectly symmetrical ribs. From tiny areoles emerge microscopic and sparse spines, which do not exceed 3 mm in length. With growth, the plant tends to crawl on the ground or to use grips as physical support thanks to the numerous aerial roots that are generated along the stem and allow it to root very easily, giving life to a thick clump of tangled stems, among which real wonders bloom: its flowers open in the middle of the night and reach even 30 cm, emanating sweet scents with their soft white petals, surrounded by many others more open and thin, arranged as a sort of corolla around the central part!
