Sedum spurium 'Tricolor'

Very popular plant due to its simple use in decoration, combined with an extreme speed of growth. It is a ground cover plant, perfect for filling large horizontal spaces with its thin stems that rest on the ground and root quickly even in the driest soils. It has very fleshy leaves, almost rounded and of a delicate light-grayish green, which are arranged in the opposite way along the stems, generating small clusters with a flower-like appearance. Depending on the atmospheric conditions to which it is subjected, Sedum spurium will tend to take on reddish shades that will make it even more showy and decorative, especially in summer, when its charm will be further accentuated by small and abundant flowers between white and pink in color, that will emanate a pleasant fragrance.
