Description:

Beautiful succulent not present in nature, but obtained in a US nursery by crossing two species of different genera: Sedum clavatum and Echeveria derenbergii. The specimen shows a marvelous mix between two plants, forming a typical small and compact rosette, with leaves that culminates in a point similar to Echeveria; the foliage, however, assumes a fleshy constitution, almost rounded, that reminds the look of Sedum. The resulting complex is perfectly balanced and harmonious, made elegant by the bluish tone of the epidermis, which fades towards pink at the apex. During Spring, S. ‘Pudgy’ ‘s charm is accentuated thanks to the bright flowers, colored in orange notes or, sometimes, a delicate white.

Plant care:

It requires a full sun exposure, thanks to which it will show more vivid and brilliant colors, however in the hottest hours it is advisable to shade it.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 6 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water abundantly only when the soil is dry, avoiding water stagnation in the roots. It is recommended to pour water directly onto the soil without wetting the leaves.

It has no particular soil requirements. A substrate suitable for succulents, which is well draining, is an optimal solution.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
