This beautiful exemplar of succulent is a hybrid created by the crossing between two very common species, the Sedum and the Echeveria, both very resistant and with great adaptability. It has a rosette arrangement, characteristic of Echeverie and fleshy leaves like those of Sedum. In fact, the leaves of S. markus f. variegated are very fleshy, lanceolate in shape and end with a small tip; they are light green silvery with pale yellow shades on the edges. It also tends to turn pink after adequate exposure to the sun. The lightest areas are due to the lack of chlorophyll, stains and shades that are never the same in plants, making each of them unique and for this reason very appreciated and sought after by collectors around the world. During the flowering period this succulent will give yellow flowers.
