Scilla maculata

African robust succulent with a pleasant and elegant appearance, consisting of a partially underground bulb, which in the vegetative season tends to exceed the level of the soil and to show, at the apex of thin and short stems, graceful flat leaves, ovoid and pointed at the apex, partially concave on the upper surface. One of the strengths of Scilla maculata, as the name suggests, is the presence of showy blackish specks of various sizes along the brilliant emerald green surface. The chromatic contrast that is generated is extremely original and accentuates even more in spring when, directly from the bulb, small white-white flowers bloom from long greenish stems, able to give Scilla maculata an additional touch of class and a breath of delicacy!
