Scilla concolor

Wonderful bulbous species whose name in Latin literally means "of the same color", in reference to the two equal foliar surfaces, unlike most species of Scylla in which they take on different shades. From the underground perennial bulb, opposite pairs of leaves, curved on themselves, depart, elongated and pointed at the apex. The extremely smooth surface is adorned with wavy and asymmetrical margins that make the entire plant extremely three-dimensional and lively. The final appearance is elegant and refined, pleasantly enriched in summer by long multiple inflorescences similar to a large spike.
