Sarcocaulon vanderietiae

It is a small succulent shrub with mostly horizontal growth. Its stems are covered with long and thin spines, that have a color, ranging from dark gray to olive green. The shrubs are covered with small, fleshy, heart-shaped, bright green leaves. The flowers range from pink to white.
