Rhipsalis paradoxa

A definitely different cactus from the usual: it is a wonderful cascade of green branches, which can reach several meters in length, creating an incomparable scenographic effect! It develops with several thin and very long stems, which grow rather quickly, of a nice light green among which sparse whitish bristly thorns stand out. Each branch is not a single limb, but is made up of several short segments, joined together in a strange three-corner structure, a reason that made people give this plant the common name of “chain cactus”. Due to its appearance, Rhipsalis paradoxa is undoubtedly perfect to be used in hanging pots or as a piece of furniture on shelves.
