Description:

Cactacea with a decidedly unusual posture, formed by slender cylindrical stems with a diameter of a few millimeters that grow abundantly branching and reaching remarkable lengths. They have a cascading pattern, so they are perfect to be placed in hanging pots or on shelves, from which will descend a wonderful waterfall of a beautiful bright light green. The plant is commonly known also as "coral plant" because of the abundant ramifications that generate its small segments, up to make it assume a pleasant bushy character. Among the stems, microscopic white or yellow flowers bloom several times a year, giving off an intense and long-lasting fragrance. Deeply loved for its high ornamentality, perhaps not many know that Rhipsalis is also considered a natural anti-stress, able to relieve tension and cause a calming effect!

Plant care:

It likes a lot of brightness, however avoid direct sunlight.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to place it in sheltered places: it adapts perfectly to the temperatures of apartments and offices.

It is advisable to always keep the soil fairly moist, never dry, therefore we recommend frequent but very light watering. Beware of stagnant water that could cause rotting.

A soil suitable for cacti is an optimal solution, even better if further mixed with pumice.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
