Rebutia wessneriana f. monstrous crested

This exemplar is absolutely unique, because two extremely rare phenomena occur in a single plant: on the one hand, the cactus is crested, that is, it takes on a fan-like disposition, on the other the crest is also monstrous, because it has asymmetries and unusual characteristics compared to R. wessneriana. In its normal form, the stem is globose, slightly depressed at the apex, of a nice bright and lively green, equipped with little pronounced hexagonal tubercles. From perfectly roundish white areolas come out long and thin pale thorns, well straight and arranged interlocking in all directions, as if to want to completely wrap the plant which is actually completely hidden.
