Pilosocereus pachycladus

It is a columnar cactus, that can reach up to 10 meters in height. It can have a branched habit at the base or develop in a single trunk. In this case, even if it starts as a single trunk, it can develop branches over the course of many years. Pilosocereus pachycladus is characterized by its color, ranging from turquoise to blue-green. On the ribs there are areoles, covered with a silky white-orange down, from which you can admire its splendid flowering, that occurs in summer. Its funnel-shaped flower has the particularity of opening at night. It is white with a green outer part.
