It is a succulent, agglomerated with a smooth or slightly wrinkled epidermis, with light green stems with slightly purple tips. The name 'globosus' comes from its ovoid or spherical stems. Flowering (generally very generous) occurs in October. Flowers pop up at the end of each stem, with a maximum of two flowers per stem. The flat flowers, slightly hairy and soft to touch, are star-shaped and of a yellow color.
