Parodia nivosa f. crested

Magnificent example of cactus with a beautiful fan shape, very sought after by collectors. In fact, the crest gives the plant a unique and unmistakable look and we will never find two identical crested plants. Its stem, of lively green colour, has several elongated tubercles, well marked from which come out the woolly white areoles. The spines grow at the base of the areoles, are radial and central: the radials have a whitish colour and are very thin; the centers, on the contrary, are more robust, similar to bristles and are less numerous than the radial ones. During the flowering period, P. nivosa f. crestata gives us beautiful flowers with bright colors ranging from white, yellow, orange and fuchsia, with thin elongated leaves.
