Parodia microsperma

It is a green globular plant, that has many variations, from small to medium-sized, generally solitary. It has white and round areoles, that hold two types of spines: the radial ones are thin, of a white color, while the central ones are long, more robust and hooked, which can be of different colors. We can find their funnel-shaped flowers in a wide range of colors, from yellow to blood-red, this makes it a very popular species for its particularly bright colors.
