Pachyveria ‘Dr Cornelius’ f. variegated

The variegated shape of this succulent has the typical lighter areas in the exact points where chlorophyll is absent; these areas will never be identical from one plant to another, thus making each specimen absolutely unique and, for this reason, highly sought after by collectors. It is a wonderful plant not present in nature, but obtained in the nursery from the union between two species even belonging to different genera, Echeveria and Pachyphytum glutinicaule. The specimen obtained shows characteristics common to both parents: with a typical rather compact rosette shape that can reach a diameter of up to 20 cm, it is made up of very fleshy and ovoid leaves, typical of Pachyphytum, but ending in delicate tips similar to those of the genus Echeveria. The coloring of the epidermis takes on pleasant bluish tones, tending to turn towards a bright purplish-reddish, especially along the edges, when the plant is abundantly exposed to sunlight or when temperatures tend to drop: the overall appearance obtained is extremely ornamental and decidedly lively, perfect for bringing a touch of joy to any style setting!
