Description:

Wonderful succulent not present in nature but obtained in the nursery from the crossing between two species belonging even to different genera, Pachyphytum and Echeveria. The specimen shows extremely original characters that will certainly not go unnoticed, hence the very name of the species that, in Greek, means "out of the ordinary". Characterized by a typical compact rosette arrangement and of reduced size but tending to become abundantly accessed with the growth, Pachyveria is formed by extremely fleshy leaves, flat on the upper surface and roundish on the lower one; the foliage is small and ovoid, ending at the apex in a showy tip. The epidermis of Pachyveria takes on a bright green color pleasantly shaded red at the apexes and along the margins when the succulent is exposed to a lot of light, for a final effect absolutely lively and extremely ornamental!

Plant care:

It is recommended to place the plant in a bright location, possibly under direct sun rays, especially in autumn, making its leaves take on more intense colors.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 7 °C, for this reason it is recommended to place it in sheltered and ventilated locations during the winter period.

Water moderately, only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer, once a month in autumn and to suspend watering completely in winter.

The best option is a well-draining and porous soil, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice or lapilli.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
