It is a hybrid between two genera: Pachyphytum and Echeveria, which means, that it is not present in nature. This very elegant succulent grows in the shape of a rosette, usually solitary. It has long fleshy, lanceolate leaves with a small tip at the apex. The foliage is of a greyish-green color, covered with a whitish pruina, which gives the plant a dusty appearance. Like all Pachyverias, also P. 'Corvus' with exposure to the sun tends to take on purple shades towards the edges of the leaves.
