The monstrous shape of a succulent presents anomalies of shape such as asymmetries, rib-like reliefs that make each exemplar unique in its kind as they will never present identical in different plants. P. oviferum in the normal form it is a fleshy succulent that grows in more or less tufted rosettes, domed leaves with a green-gray color that changes in a rose with exposure to the intense sun or dry cold. During the flowering period , in spring, this plant gives beautiful white flowers with a red interior that create a perfect contrast with the water-green rosettes.
