Description:

This plant is a cross between 2 species, P. oviferum and P. viride, created by Captain Jessop, british operating in World War II. It grows by generating descending or drooping stems, formed by leaves arranged in a rosette, up to 8-10 cm long and almond-shaped; its color varies from dark green to purple-pink, even more bright with exposure to the sun. The variegated shape of this succulent presents the typical lighter areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each exemplar will be absolutely unique and, for this reason, highly sought after by collectors. In the flowering period it produces long stems on which appear beautiful cream-colored flowers with red centers. This Pachyphytum is ideal for creating wonderful compositions and bouquets, the perfect formula to give a touch of color to your spaces.

Plant care:

It is recommended to place the plant in a bright place, possibly in direct contact with the sun's rays, especially in autumn, making its leaves take on more intense colors.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 8 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. Once a week in spring and summer and once a month in autumn and winter.

A well-draining and porous soil is an optimal solution, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice or lapilli.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
