Pachyphytum bracteosum, is a beautiful succulent plant, distinguished by very fleshy, obovate club-shaped leaves, with a silver-gray color tending to pink. For this particular color it is also called a 'Moonstone' plant. During the flowering period (usually late winter) it produces characteristic calyx-shaped flowers, which vary from dull red to dark red creating a beautiful contrast with the "lunar" color of the leaves.
